There are a couple of fast food dipping sauces out there that will leave you craving more. Raising Cane’s tangy Cane's sauce is one, and Wingstop ranch is the other. I can admit it, TikTok mukbangs of Wingstop will have me in a trance for at least an hour and will result in buying some Mango Habanero wings. The chain’s ranch is a must here. It has many in a chokehold with its herbaceous taste and is the perfect dip for almost every menu item at Wingstop. On TikTok, #wingstop has 4.2 billion views, and with a quick scroll, every video features a huge tub of the ranch or a chicken wing smothered in the ranch. It begs the question, is there a Wingstop ranch copycat recipe? Yes, surfing through Reddit, TikTok, or just doing a quick Google search, you can find the recipe. However, there’s one person I trust and that’s Jordan Howlett (@jordan_the_stallion8 on TikTok) who seems to have the secret recipes of every fast food chain all written in a notebook — he’s dropped the recipes of Olive Garden’s Alfredo Sauce, Outback Steakhouse’s Honey Wheat Bushman Bread, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, and more. But what about Wingstop’s ranch?

Howlett is for the people so, of course, he also has the recipe.

What is the Wingstop ranch recipe?

Wingstop ranch is almost like the Roman Empire, it has many casually thinking about it.

The release of this recipe was after not getting a ranch fountain. Howlett heard that if asked, Wingstop will give a fountain to pour the ranch in — think of those chocolate fountains that you stick strawberries and other treats into.

This was untrue, but apparently at the Wingstop Howlett went to, the staff made him wait there for an hour and 20 minutes until he realized there was no fountain.

The recipe calls for buttermilk, mayo, and the ranch seasoning packets. He notes that Wingstop’s ranch is on the salty side, but there’s a recipe on the seasoning packets that you can adjust the salt level. To do so mix the following:

½ cup of dried buttermilk powder

3 tablespoons of dried parsley

1 tablespoon of granulated garlic

2 teaspoons of granulated onion

2 teaspoons of dried dill

1 teaspoon of dried onion flakes

1 teaspoon of dried chives

1 teaspoon of salt

4 ounces of mayonnaise

8 ounces of buttermilk

The sauce is very mayo-heavy, but most ranch sauces are. After mixing the ingredients, serve with chicken wings and fries to really feel like you ordered from Wingstop.
